One Plus One
A short Animated film made out of three parts about achievement, competitiveness, and self-criticism. Every part tells the story of a different character. The project was picked for “Asif” Animation Festival as part of the “Official Selection” exhibition.

The Concept
The urge to move forward and constantly improve in relation to what we were, exists within us since we are born. Over the years, this kind of achievement becomes insufficient. Influenced by society, we start demanding ourselves to be better than others, and as a result, we become our own toughest critics.
In this film, every chapter tells the story of a different character who deals with comparison and presents a combination of the inner and outer world of the character. the film is accompanied by an internal dialogue that the character conducts with her critical voice.
Color Pallete
The color palette is divided into two main colors, pink and blue. the two colors represent the dialogue between the two different voices in the character's head that accompanied every chapter in the film. In every chapter, there are different shades of pink and blue depending on the level of intensity of the story.
